The two of us

Who you'll be working with

Strategy & The Machine is an AI consulting practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico, owned in equal shares by Jerry Prochazka and Jordan Kahn. Jerry founded the practice. He was Head of People at Riot Games, Chief HR Officer and Head of Third-Party Publishing at Wargaming, and founder of Ganymede Games. Jordan spent five years as Director of Operations at an indie game publisher, running process automation and internal tooling for a 230-title catalog and a 25-person remote team. Both worked at Riot Games and Wargaming earlier in their careers. Either owner takes point on an engagement, backed by the other. The practice serves small businesses in the Las Cruces and El Paso region, and works remotely on builds and ongoing technical support.

Jordan Kahn

Co-Owner

Jordan spent five years as Director of Operations at an indie game publisher, running the business side of 230+ titles with a 25-person remote team. His job was making complicated things run without friction: process, tooling, and eventually AI, wherever it removed a bottleneck. He's not a software engineer. He builds working tools by directing Claude Code the way he'd direct a team: figure out what the system actually needs to do, then build it. He also spent time at Riot Games and Wargaming earlier in his career.

How we work

One of us takes point on your engagement, whoever you reach out to or whoever the work fits best, and the other backs them up. You get one point of contact, backed by two people's judgment, from assessment through build and training.
